Our feature this weekend is a local Cordova Farms lamb shank with a green olive chimichurri served over cinnamon and tomato scented rice with sesame honey fried sweet potatoes.  The rich, plush fruit and delicate acidity of the Robert Biale Black Chicken Zinfandel shows flavors of plum, black cherry, pomegranate, and baking spices.  Fine grained tannins and a persistent finish make this an elegant pairing.
