Our weekend feature is a local Montana smoked pork chop glazed with spiced cherry and aronia berries, acorn squash stuffed with chorizo, apple, fennel and dried cranberry with grilled broccolini and chanterelle jus. The Cote du Rhone from Domaine de la Janasse is a spectacular pairing of black cherry and berry tones with intensely concentrated plump flavors, fresh acidity and gripping tea tannins. Equal proportions of Carignan, Grenache, Mourvedre and Syrah give a spicy, earthen complexity and twelve months of aging in foudre and oak barrels adds a gorgeous roundness to the Terre d’Argile.
