Our entree feature this weekend is a guava glazed Cornish game hen with pineapple, cashew, and turmeric rice, local bacon and plantain fritters, and charred local shishito peppers. Davis Bynum’s Russian River Valley chardonnay opens with creme brulee, mineral, and floral aromas and flavors reminiscent of baked apple pie, marzipan, and marshmallow. The rich and creamy palate is balanced with substantial acidity and a lengthy finish.
