Citrus Seared Scallops

Our entree feature this weekend is citrus seared diver scallops over local cauliflower and manchego polenta, with local roasted broccolini, crispy Cordova Farms chorizo, smoked almonds, and finished with a sherry gastrique.  The Gavi di Gavi produced by the three sisters at La Mesma in Piedmont is stunning.  They use organic Cortese grapes to create a wine with apricot, citrus, and meadow flower scents, with a fresh and harmonious taste.
