Our feature this weekend is Pacific white sea bass Veracruz style with tomatoes, garlic, capers and onions stewed into a savory sauce served over rice with pickled carrots and jalapenos, fried corn tortilla strips and a candied, salted lime wheel. We are pairing the A Lisa malbec, a fresh and energetic wine from one of the most southern wineries in the world. This Patagonian blend of malbec, merlot, and petit verdot has an excellent structure with notes of cherry and cassis and balanced, persistent tannins.
