Feast Weekend Special – Pork Osso Bucco With La Montesa Rioja

Our feature this weekend is slow braised montana pork osso bucco with a roasted poblano corn cake, mole sauce, cumin roasted baby carrots, tomatillo verde and a corn, sweet potato, cilantro and pickled onion slaw.  We chose to pair a blend of garnacha and tempranillo from Rioja, Spain. Palacios Remondo La Montesa has a fresh nose of pure strawberries and raspberries and a hint of dried flowers with vibrant and rich stone fruit flavor, silky tannins and a slightly herbal finish.
