Our feature this weekend is a smoked Montana pork chop over a saffron risotto and kale arancini with eggplant, zucchini, and tomato caponata, fennel puree and orange walnut pesto.  Sito Moresco, a blend of nebbiolo, merlot, barbera, and cabernet sauvignon from Gaja starts with fresh thyme and marjoram aromas before merging forest floor earthiness with juicy red strawberry, cherry and plum.  Silky tannins and bright acidity lead to a spicy finish with light smoky notes.  This is a remarkable wine with to pair with this dish.
