Enjoy our feature this weekend of slow braised boar osso bucco over chanterelle mushrooms and fava beans with fresh fig and cherry tomato gremolata salad. Combining Fall flavors with the last memories of Summer we decided to pair a wine that is full of fruit and sunshine. The Altaroses Granatxa from the Montsant region of Spain is certified organic and biodynamic and hearkens back to an earlier time where the wines of the region were lighter bodied and very expressive. With wild strawberry and garrigue on the nose the soft warm fruit and mouthwatering acidity really resonate with the rich boar and forest flavors.
