Our feature this weekend is herb grilled Montana lamb chops with creamy polenta, marinated white beans, caramelized artichoke hearts, tapenade made with olives, blistered cherry tomato, and roasted red bell pepper, and drizzled with a Calabrian chili hot honey and local sunflower shoots. Castro Ventosa has produced a delicious Mencia from the Bierzo in northeastern Spain that presents strawberry, red cherry, white pepper, and violet with a juicy concentration, fine grained tannins, and an elegant and persistent finish. A fantastic complement for this flavorful dish.
